4. Retrieving Merchant ID (MID), Terminal ID (TID), and Secret
Step 1: Log in to Transaction Manager
- Navigate to the Transaction Manager login page.
- Enter your username and password in the respective fields.
- Click the “Login” button to access your dashboard.

- Upon successful login, the merchant homepage will display, presenting various merchant-related information.

Step 2: Navigate to Payment Form Processing Data
- Go to the Virtual Terminal -> Payment Forms -> Payment Form Processing Datasection via the main menu.

Note: If you do not see Payment Forms under Virtual Terminal in the main menu of Transaction Manager, please email the support team contact@chargeanywhere.com to request access.
- You will see a Password Verification pop-up. Enter your Transaction Manager login password and click “Submit“.

Step 3: Access the Merchant ID, Terminal ID, and Secret
- You will see the list of available Merchant ID,Terminal ID, andSecret.
- Click “Rotate Secret” if you want to delete the old Secretand create a new one.

Note: We recommend that you rotate your Secret key periodically and store all the Processing Data info in a secure place. If you rotate Secret, you will need to update this information in all your integration points to avoid service disruptions.
Caution! The Secret should be stored securely on the merchant’s server once it has been obtained. It should only be used in the Server-to-server method of communication. The secret should never be exposed to the client.
