Creating a secure, closed, and hidden network dedicated to terminal activity and completely separate from any existing public Wi-Fi is a great way manage your payments processing. Our repeater will provide you with free, enhanced Wi-Fi that will extend your signal resulting in the most efficient and convenient checkout experience for your customers.
2. Installation
Once ready to install the Wi-Fi Repeater, simply follow the steps in the video link below:
Video steps are summarized here:
- Take the repeater and plug it into a wall outlet with the bar code right side up.
- A green light will turn on.
- Once the light turns from green to blue, raise the antennas.
- Plug the ethernet cable to the wall outlet and then plug the other end into the bottom of the repeater.
- On your Q2 or Q3 unit we will be using the SecureWiFi feature on the screen which will enable the camera on the back of the QuickSale unit.
- To do activate the camera, tap on the SecureWiFi box on the terminal and the screen will open up the camera.
- Bring the terminal to the barcode on the top of the repeater to scan the barcode.
- Once completed the terminal will display the following: Scan success, connecting. Authenticating with Charge Anywhere2, Authentication Pass! Connected with your secure WiFi!
- Click the circle under the bottom of the screen to exit Secure WiFi and you will be brought to the main menu screen.
